Fujitsu leaf spring gasket material

I have a board with these, and on a few switches the yellow insulating tape/gasket material has fallen out. It seems to be about the thickness of scotch tape and has the effect of slightly dampening the sound. Anybody know of a source for this material, or a source for replacement leaf spring switches so I could perhaps solder a new one in? pic attached

I don't have a source for the exact material but by the way you describe it, the backing you peel off of two sided tape might work. Cut to fit obviously. We have industrial two sided tape at work and the backing is a bit thicker than scotch tape but provides the properties you are describing.

Just a thought.

Edit to Add...

Kapton tape is electrically neutral. If you folded a piece on itself, there would be no sticky side and it might be the correct thickness. Just another thought and might be easier for you to get.

The other question is how to slip the tape underneath the leaf spring. It looks like the tape was originally stuck on before the switch was riveted shut.

Probably not tape, but just an insulator.
