Black ALPS (AT102W) mod - how do I make these click more?

After trawling DT and GH, I cannot find a definitive guide, *with sound samples*, for how to mod the Black ALPS found on a Dell AT102W into more clicky ALPS (are these white ALPS? It's not very well explained, or maybe, as is often the case, there is too much detail, so it gets confusing).
I basically want to mod a test switch - a Black ALPS found in the AT102W, so that it has a more tactile click to it. Are there any sound samples around of a post-modded AT102W switch, modded in this way?
The only article I found was this one: http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title= ... nts&page=4
Post #32, but there is no sound clip. Thanks
