That is a pretty scary president to set.

What if conservatives controlled the media and used it to stigmatise liberal views ?
That's arguably what's going on in America. You see how it affects Redmaus. I wonder if he believes climate change is a UN hoax / nothing to do with CO2 emissions? Kook science sold as credible fact, thanks to conservative media moguls.

Redmaus may be younger but I think he's pretty open minded. For a texan.

Exactly. That's why I'm interested! He's a good test subject.

He must be smart or he wouldn't even be "hanging" here with the rest of us. ;)

I am not left or right, I just take whatever side is right(no pun intended) on issues.

Of course global warming is real. Its been proven. Just like the liberal has always been controlled by liberals the last few years. Everything changes eventually. The cycle will change again soon.

I miss Rand since he dropped out.

Donald Trump *is* Ayn Rand!

Well, inside his head. Along with a veritable menagerie of grandiose delusions.

Ron Paul is best option ofc

Too bad he will never be elected.

And Donald Trump has big dreams that won't happen but at he has dreams. One can dream....

build wall!

Donald will have to stop Hispanics from having the vote, first. Hillary's going to cream him in November thanks to that big mouth of his.

You people do know that he only wants to deport illegals right?

Yeah and W. only wanted sunshine and happiness. Trump's playing hard right, and the republican base is lapping it up. They love a fellow racist.

Fortunately, non-whites also have the vote. And most swing states have significant populations of people who are scared shitless by the lunatic.

I'm not even a trump person, but why do you think he is racist?

What did he say that was racist?

This:

It's what far right wing politicians do. You learn to hear it once you've seen them at it enough times. Look for *who* is responding with wild applause.

His polling among Hispanic and Black voters is apocalyptic. They know what he's up to.

What part of "let's build a wall between us and Mexico" comes across as not racist?

No I meant what did he say. As in what Donald J. Trump has actually said in real life.

And as far as a wall goes, a way of controlling illegal immigration isn't so bad. Israel has one, and it works stupendous.

Right, of course that one speech about mexicans was even more extreme...

But those are just facts. Many illegals end up in the drug trade or other criminal activities. And some are good people that are innocent.

I would love to think that people that need to break the law in order to enter a country are the best and brightest, but the amount of drugs coming from mexico would say otherwise.

EDIT: what is a "Trump Apologist"?

Redmaus, read the first line of that quote, do you really think mexico is "sending" those people? "They're rapists". All of them? Come on. Get real. Of course there are many illegal immigrants involved in crime, but all of them? 100%? Every single one? For sure? "And some, I assume, are good people." That's like saying there might be a few decent people in there but honestly I don't think so and nor shall you my voter.

Immigrants are this election's abortion. The demographics will have their little irrelevant fight over issues which are irrelevant in the bigger scope of things and for the structures of power, instead of really questioning or testing this power structure by not electing any of these assholes. The neo liberals who the democrats and republicans represent control the immigration faucet, the rest is just for show and to get your vote, nothing will change. You will keep seeing videos of how they patrol the border and keep out the immigrants, while in the meantime the immigrants get in elsewhere. Trump is less likely to turn off the faucet than a democrat, cheap labor and wage repression is more a thing of the right, socializing the costs of immigration and privatizing the profit.

My problem is ANY political viewpoint co-opting the media is bad.

Right, also I happen to know there is a latino middle class that also happen to be voters. I wonder who they vote for? Another very interesting theory I just read is that Trumps biggest problem could become the RNC itself since no "normal" republican wants Trump in office. So the more he wins along the way the more they might try "throwing rocks" in his way. They also suggested that Trump is the RNC's worst nightmare since he's unpredictable and makes all Republicans look like looneys. He's not even a politician. He's a businessman who was broke at one point. In the grand scheme of billionairs he's chump change, a small fish with a big trumpet for a mouth. But he is leading the polls that's true and scary.

I used to troll people criticizing Steve Ballmer by noting that Ballmer would only have to reply with their own comments, with the adjective billionaire inserted. Works the same for Trump.

Trump is a billionaire businessman who was broke at one point.
He's a billionaire chump change, a billionaire small fish.

Who do you people want to be president, I don't want Trump, I wanted Rand Paul. I simply don't understand where you people are coming up with these accusations.

In the act of breaking the law and coming here illegally, they are already in fact criminals.

Well let me put it this way, he's not as successful as a billionaire businessman as he would have his voters believe. Still a billionaire yes.

I'm not a citizen of the US therefore I cannot vote there. Aside from that I'm not sure who I would vote. I'm not coming up with any accusations. Just facts like that quote.
Redmaus wrote: In the act of breaking the law and coming here illegally, they are already in fact criminals.
OK so are they then also automatically rapists and drug dealers?

No but they most likely aren't mexico's best. And some will be drugs dealers, some will be rapists, and some will be good people.

Why don't we just build a wall to separate the good people from the rest? :D

Amen to that Redmaus. Good luck with that. Even if he is elected that will not happen because it's not realistic. Do me a favor and watch this, it's interesting:

At a fourth grade level it appeals to a larger group of people, thus more voters. Words that help people remember is smart.

This is simple. He is a businessman that knows how to make deals. Not everyone is smart in America.

Why is it not realistic? Israel did and its only four times the distance, and we have 52x larger GDP than Israel.
