Cherry original doubleshots



the most sincere and least pretentious keycaps ever.

I am pleased to see I am far from being alone in my fondness for Cherry original doubleshots

The Cherry original doubleshots are most popular which does not suprise me.

I am a sucker for the original Cherries, but I think that XDA Canvas is the most unique, aesthetic and feel-wise.

3 Cherry sets but expensive ? 1 copy of Round5 ? XDA ?

how is it that you are not allowed to nominate keysts that have yet to be manufactured yet everyone likes OG which in a forum that is dedicated to vintage stuff is not suprising but at the same time just seems to go against the rule of being made in 2018

Already PM'd matt3o about the "Copy of Round5" - SA Oblivion's true colorway is actually this, while the render shown above is using a mixture of optional kits that were available in the same GB

Fair enough, and I agree that the choice of picture wasn't really appropriate in this case

I didn't get that nomination either. It was definitely not a keyset made in 2018...

Maybe you should of said that from the start and then chosen the good keysets not the weird stuff like serika and xda canvas?

Nobody complained in the nomination phase. I liked the idea. People are voting it. I'd say God's in his heaven, all's right with the world.

I rather like the easy-going way DT awards are handled this year

I am by no means surprised that OG doubleshots are in first place but if I could choose a second place, I would pick SA Oblivion.

It's somewhat surprising to even see gmk laser on here, I guess thats from the reddit people who only use dt for the awards

While that is a good design, you are limited to 2 or 3 clicky switches whereas og cherry can be used on hundreds to thousands of boards of any mx mount you want. I wish more designs utilized a curved plate like that

Combined the Gaijin alphas with Miami Knight's mods.

Voted for the old farts’ option. (For all of us old farts, not just Mr. Choc.) I’m annoyed Cherry’s dyesubs aren’t in the mix (they really are nicer, I find) but there’s something pleasingly self righteous about nominating the working man’s caps over the elite. And I do honestly prefer their look to the other sets nominated here.

Voting for the Canvas option, because at least they're trying to do something interesting with regards to shape, color, and fonts.
