Riveted Cherry MY switches

Hey, I found an old cherry Board (g81 - 1000 HCD) made in 1984. I have an issue with one of the connections of the membrane being so corroded, that a few keys dont work. In order to fix this I have to remove at least one switch. However these switches seem to be riveted on the back plate. Are there any ways to remove these without drilling them out?

I'd cut off the protruding part with a sharp knife - leaves space to later fasten those back later with a short self-tapping screw.

Thanks for the tip. I bought a set of micro screws for this purpose, but the only ones I can screw in are M1. The problem with these is that the head is smaller than the hole. So it would just slip through. Can this board be salvaged at all, without just gluing on the switches?

Washers to the rescue!

Also, depending on external diameter of the rivet stems, reaming the hole so that larger screw fits. But that's riskier, as you only have one chance - if the larger screw penetrates outer diameter of the stem, that stem is gone.

I will probably try washers if I can find some small enough. Thanks for the tip!
