I'm looking for a wrist rest for my Pure and found
the Grifiti Neopren ones on Amazon USA.
Does anyone know a shop where these can be bought in europe? Or any other cheap wrist rests for 60% keyboards?

We could do a group buy and get it from grifiti.com directly for $12 each + $26 shipping to Europe

I'm sure we would find some more people interested in getting one.

Shipping: FREE SHIPPING available in the USA on this item.
ne0phyte is right, shipping is still 26$ to europe (per lb, but I guess it's not that heavy). There is also a coupon "HOLIDAY20" giving 20% off (2,4$).
The wrist rest in itself is interesting but shipping indeed kills the deal.

no, its about purchasing any stuff from usa that kills the deal.
usa stuff = custom tax at 99,9%
at least for my own case

Yeah... but I really want that wrist rest D:
Are there any other 60% wrist rests (that are available in Europe)? I thought about making some out of wood otherwise..

@ajx : I would have thought there wouldn't be custom charges for such a small amount, but indeed that depends on many criterias. I already have received small packages from the US without trouble personnally (in France), but I wouldn't dare doing that with a GB.
@ne0phyte : I don't remember having seen any yet, but if you go for a wood wrist rest that's going to be a lot different than the grifiti I believe.

I don't know what it is like in France but in Germany you don't pay anything for orders (incl. shipping) of up to 22€, from 22€ to 150€ its "just" a fixed rate of 19% of the invoice total. Above that you pay 19% + a certain rate depending on the goods.
The amount of duty won't be that much for a small GB but I think the price for one would be around $20-$22 since I or whoever runs it has to ship them, too.
I will calculate how much it would be and make a thread later. I'd say even $22 is much better than $38

Would anyone be interested in a group buy of those wrist rests for europeans?
I calculated that it would be:
Code: Select all
Amount | Price (shipped within Europe)
========|================================
4 | $28.50 / 22.00€
6 | $26.00 / 20.00€
8 | $24.00 / 18.50€
10 | $23.50 / 18.00€
12 | $23.00 / 17.50€
when ordered directly from grifiti.com
It's not exactly cheap, but its way cheaper than what a single order would cost ($38 / 30€).

may be interested but not for now, i have another purchases to buy before
22 eur is too much imo, it doesnt worth it for its price
at last price, mucher better price imo
however i m wondering if we can make it by oneself
can you handle it for a further GB?

Thank you for taking the time to propose it.
My opinion is that even with a GB it wouldn't be worth the price paid, sadly.
I will ask Attarian, he could have interesting options.
