For what I've read about this keyboard, I would have expected it to be cheaper.

This is apparently the gamer version, the "MX Board 3.0", not the "MX Board 2.0". That means that it has plate-mounted switches and 6-key rollover (+8 modifiers). The Keyboard Company gave it the same price as the G80-3493LYCYS which has rougly the same specs. The G80-3000 is more expensive from them.
