Description | RAFI Full-Travel Keyswitch keycaps from a Neve Necam 96 audio workstation keyboard, comparing engraved (blue) vs double-shot (grey); the smooth finish of double-shot molding has prevented the legends from acquiring dirt that cannot be wiped clean, but engraving was better suited in terms of cost to the custom nature of the keyboard (in fact, based on a RAFI catalogue, it is suggested that the engraving is done using an engraving machine, and not with a laser, as only engraved (and not lasered) keycaps are given as being ink infilled. |
