Several electronic typewriters from the late '80s and early '90s have Cherry MX or Cherry MY switches, with keycaps in Cherry profile, probably made by Cherry or GMK.
The keycaps from so called "Amstrad" switches are not Cherry MX-compatible. Some typewriters that have switches like Cherry MY have also sometimes other cherry switches like Cherry M9 or Cherry MX inside the case for the mechanical registration of operations, for example to register that the carriage arrived the end.
