Re: The best modern gaming keyboard! (and why)
Tactility can be improved with heavier springs.
Have you tried it? It's usually the opposite: a heavier spring will mask a tactile bump that stays the same, as the resistance from the bump becomes relatively smaller.
No, not yet.
What you say it's usually right, but when I put a 78g spring ...

The profiles can be saved in the firmware.Sangdrax wrote: 23 Apr 2019, 23:07 I just wish they had integrated stuff loaded in the keyboard instead of having an external program running.
But there are other bugs to the analog mode that basically prevent me from using it, unless I was playing a game that could use those features.

Re: The best modern gaming keyboard! (and why)
And I do wish that they would release some tactile switch variant. They have only two linear variants and a clicky, which has less tactility than even a Cherry MX Blue.
I have the clicky one. It sounds better than MX blue. Not as good as clickbars though. Tactility can be improved with heavier ...

This would have been good for other accents as well.depletedvespene wrote: 19 Apr 2019, 18:11 No, but properly designed layouts do have properly configured diaeresis/umlaut dead key that allows typing the combining code point.

Re:
You can find some info on wikipedia under QWERTY.
As for Italian layout, I can tell you that it was not originated from typewriters. Italian typewriters used to be QZERTY, but I've never seen any pc keyboard with that layout. Whoever designed the italian layout did a lousy job . The keyboard lacks ...

Re: Re:
Be sure to test it out a lot first before actually doing a custom keyboard. I'm in the middle of that these weeks, and some results have been quite surprising.
Finally got ahold of a TKL.
First impression is good, especially for mouse usage. Lack of numpad is not as dramatic as I thought. What ...

I have one of those Chinese adapters because I didn't know there were better cables around for my model M. If it lags or stops working, I'll try to find orihalcon's cables.

Re: Hako Royal True switches - first impressions/mini review
First of all thanks for the review.
I cannot make myself to like any Hako switch. It must be due to their particular force curves. Or because I like to bottom out.
The violet is the best of the bunch, but I still prefer other tactiles.

Re:
It's a top designer layout, for the layout runway show!
First impression: Striking character by showing off the XXL size spacebar, and then the egocentric top position of right Ctrl key. Not to mention the selective omission of F4 and F6 to F10 keys.
If key legends are considered, I think it is ...

I add ISO-IT every time I can (dye-sub of course)... when I get stats from massdrop there are like 4 orders from Italy and only 1 got the international kit. Less talk, more buy! :D (kidding of course)
I think they are poorly advertised? I got the ePBT from aliexpress so far.
I find a bit hard ...
Re: ISO users
For this reason there is ZERO keycaps which are double-shots in ISO-IT layout either within a kebyoard or sold separately.
The best I can get are PBT dye-sub, and I plan to do some custom runs of DSA dye-sub, if not laser printed for the 11 specific text keys. This means no light legends on ...

don't go, i was lurking too, but here I am ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
Problem is when you add the biggest international layout (not just those 3) the price for the set will go much higher, like too much and no MOQ.

Re: ISO users
The IBM Selectric, (which interestingly also had an "ISO style" Enter key for all regions) had an optional dead key feature for this very reason. In fact, the Selectric II keyboard is one of my all-time favourites.
There is (was?) a big enter key for ANSI layout too, with the L shape turned on ...

spongebob is right, but it will require more ppl to be interested in buying other language caps to have them sold more often.
Re: ISO users
At least you can. Nobody makes GMK or other quality sets with ITA keys.phinix wrote: 02 Apr 2019, 22:28 I understand MOQs and all that, but this is really a pain sometimes when you have to buy the whole NorDeUK kit to get 1/3 of it usefull.
