This sounds like a pretty cool feature to me, especially if you could tweak the force in software.
Go for it!

This is the tutorial that got me started. I don't know if there were any significant changes to KiCad since, but it's very concise.

Nice. :) I'll drop you a few tips, maybe you can use some of that. - Try giving it a go with a direct filament drive machine if you can. Ultimaker does pretty good Ninjaflex for a bowden machine, but results from a bowden vs a direct drive are night and day. I was printing a lot of NF with flashforg...

Does that include automation industry and the military? Because they fear a lot, and went a long way to be less afraid. Consumer-grade stuff doesn't use such precautions, and not without a reason.Muirium wrote: ↑Anyone fearing for port longevity is doing it wrong.

Did you consider making a custom one out of epoxy putty? You'd be able to make it rest tightly against the keyboard's case, reducing any strain on the USB connector. And get a smooth shape on the 8 millimeter part that sticks outside of the connector, so it doesn't grab anything in the backpack. You...

Are these all custom, or available as standard parts? What's the alloy? Can these be machined, perhaps? Oh, and a Toshiba L...

I'm using uzbl for now, but the browser has been unmaintained for a while now and is completely deprecated due to its use of WebKit 1... Sadly I still didn't find a proper browser to replace it. That's an interesting browser I didn't hear about! Thanks. edit: [deleted] Yeah, it is unmaintained... h...

↑ this.
Not oversweetened, comes in varieties, keeps attention high thanks to caffeine content. Fairly simple ingredients without additives AFAIK.
Though I prefer regular mate and tea, or still mineral water.

here was hardly any progress in medieval Europe. Compared to what? America? Hmm, yeees... Seems it's gonna go downhill from here. However, I've got some unfortunate news. Yesterday evening, when reading this thread, I was tapping my head, and everything clacked into place! I had all the a...

@davkol, Exactly. But the paradigm shift would not have taken place without the prior system, as there would be nothing to shift from in the first place. Therefore, if you take away that previous system, you also take away the basis for the paradigm shift, and we end up on the trees, back with the c...

@davkol: How is that a counterexample? You need to have a "universally accepted paradigm" to be able to describe an "anomaly" against it. Without a prior system, there is no anomaly. edit: That wikipedia article gave me cancer. It reads like the PHP wiki edit history. The last time I've seen someone...

@Redmaus, re:welfare - exactly. There are people who made welfare money into a style of living. Welfare, as in giving people free money, is, essentially, breeding Dodo birds. However, people need food. They also need effective education, healthcare, and shelter. Things that keep them alive, producti...

Every new system is constructed against (a set of) older system(s). See Github vs. Subversion as a good model. You need to have rules to deviate from. Combined with empirical evidence, they give you necessary data to propose changes. Look at software. How many times do you make the correct decision ...

Multiculturalism sounds good in theory, but when you really think about the way it is implemented its really the end to all culture. Europe is an amazing idea but the implementation is poor and the people running it are idiots. You forgot to mention that they're not using version control. They don't even have a github account. They're... governmenting like some sort of animals! It's worse than systemd. Bunch of observations as a...
