Hand-wired keyboard with 8mm space between top/bottom plates.

I used the Postage Board Mini, which is a controller I designed for hand-wired keyboards. (shameless plug: I'm running a GB for it right now , only 1 day left). I've been trying to make thinner hand-wired keyboards for a while, and this is the thinnest I've done yet. Next time, I might try making a ...

Re: [GB] Postage Board Mini - A better controller board for hand-wired keyboards

Update: Mechboards.co.uk has joined the Group Buy as the EU vendor. This should give EU buyers a better shipping rate.

The boards are in my possession, and I have completed the testing phase. They work splendidly, and I am working on shipping them out now. I ran into some delays with the shipping-out phase, my choice of packaging turned out to be incompatible with my shipper's labels. I have it sorted out, and they ...

The boards have been shipped from China and they are on their way to me. The next step will be for me to test a random sample of them, and then ship them out to everyone.

I have managed to get cheaper shipping to UK and EU courtesy of David @ Mechboards.co.uk

$6 to UK, and $11 to EU. Both are non-tracked. If you prefer tracking, fill out the order form and I'll send you a quote.

I would definitely like to buy one, but quite frankly the shipping estimates are insane. is there any way to bring down the US shipping? Different carrier? slower service? I made the assumption that everyone would want tracking service included at the very minimum. Perhaps that wasn't a good idea. ...

[GB] Postage Board (switch-mounted hand wire controller)

Hello everyone, the GB is finally here for the Postage Board. I have been testing a batch of prototypes for the past while, and I'm happy to say they have functioned flawlessly. Check out this video I made of the testing results https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoUxoD30dqM Here is a render of the fin...

[IC] Postage Board (switch-mounted hand wire controller)

Greetings everyone. I don't post much on DT, I mostly hang out on r/MK, and in the Mech Keys discord. I figured I would post this here too, because I think DT is a more tech-savvy community, and might find most appeal here. I am nearing the stage of starting a Group Buy for the Postage Board. I've n...

Only point on the home soldering is the usbc, that would real pain point for most, easiest ones are those 1/2 through hole 1/2 smd, but they are still not great. maybe open version has mini/micro? tricky choice. Yes, I was thinking along the same lines, making a Micro USB variant for people to hand...

I like the audio jack for external i2c. have you built one up yet(v1 that is)? No I never assembled any of the V1 boards. I was going to order all the components and solder it up, but I very quickly started working on the V2 model, which doesn't share any components at all, so it didn't make sense ...

This is more or less what I wanted to do. basically an HHKB with split spacebar. Unfortunately I don't have all the key size to make it perfect, but I can settle with that for a prototype. Looks very cool. I'm interested in designing a PCB for these Kailh ML switches, a 40% layout. How easy is it t...
