Victor Keyboard with Hosiden (I think) Switches
These switches appear to be fairly rare, let alone in a pc compatible keyboard. I was super excited because XT and AT layouts are my favorite layouts, especially when you remap the keys. I love having full control of my pc without moving wrist, toggling num lock and using the nav clusters that way i...

Re: Desperate to try out a beamspring
Really want to give one for a spin. I currently have a beamspring of my own, but its in non working condition, with not even a single switch working properly. I realize it's a huge risk to ship a stranger a keyboard worth this much, but if anyone is willing to take the plunge then I can assure the ...

Brand New Chinese Weikay Alps Clone

Re: Identify this weird kpt switch clone? Idk what it is
Cool. I was thinking that it felt remarkably similar to an alps switch. It didn't bind as much as KPT blues do.

Identify this weird kpt switch clone? Idk what it is
It has the stem of a kpt switch, but black, and a unique housing with no letters ir markings.
Has anyone seen this sort of switch?
Edit: sorry my finger is in the pic

Re: m3501 locking switch question
I shall speculate otherwise. “Locking caps lock” is a feature in QMK etc. as a (hacky) way to support mapping other (better) mods to an unmodified latching Caps Lock. There is no inherent magic to latching switches: they’re switches, which latch. Interpreting them, controller side, is where the opt...

m3501 locking switch question
Does anyone know if swapping the locking switch on the capslock switch for a non-locking switch, would let that key behave like a normal key?
Reason being, I really like to map capslock to control.
