Snagged this beauty on eBay just now. It's the keyboard for a Franklin PC-8000 from 1986.
Couldn't find any info on it other than a mention on Geekhack from 9 years ago saying it has SKCL greens.
I'll post to the wiki once it arrives, but for fun does anyone already have info on this thing ...

I'm continuing to use this: I find a bit hard to adapt to the dead keys, but that's only because I never used them before (and because both my Windows installation keep randomly defaulting back to the standard Italian layout for some weird reasons. Well, it's Windows after all.)

The exact definition of "mechanical keyboard", as already said in this and other places on the Internet, has some fuzzy edges.
For example, I don't agree with the definition "if it has a PCB it's mechanical, otherwise it's not". The membranes are less durable and less resistant to humidity, but if ...

The original Italian layout is... Challenged , in many regards.
I'm using this layout proposal. It's a bit early to really give an opinion, but everything is going smoothly for now. Adding diacritics through dedicated "Compose" keys is something I'm really not used to, so I need a little more time ...

So how many of you would judge me if I floated my NIB F AT up on eBay for $1500 to test the market hype?
Nothing bad in testing the hype, but I fear that such a test could drive the prices up even more.
It's probably part of the cause of high prices for "mainstream rare" boards (e.g. Model Fs and ...
