Re: AT&T KBD 301 review (Olivetti dome with slider)
Excellent work on the above video! I just left a thumbs up and a comment. Curious, did anyone here happen to score this recent auction? Congrats to the winner! https://www.ebay.com/itm/284640780674 Just wanted to potentially collaborate with all those here who cherish these models, because I'd like ...

Re: Convergent Technologies CT 64-00164 Micro Switch Vintage Keyboard Serial Output
Everyone, thank you, this is EXACTLY the information and prospective I was hoping to gain here! I knew this network went far and wide, and I'm so thankful for it, and all of you. I'm wondering if https://linustechtips.com/profile/774696-army_greywolf/ is actually the seller, not the buyer in this ca...

I made this video specifically for everyone here. Does anyone have any insight into what machine(s) this could be for?

Re: 029 Keyboards on eBay...and possibly an apology...
Thought about going for them, but it looks like they're going to a good home :) . However, I'd be VERY surprised if the keyboards in those pictures are Key Tronic. They look more like Cortron/ITW switches to me. And that is why I value this forum...the expanse of knowledge and experience here is ph...

029 Keyboards on eBay...and possibly an apology...
Well, last week I saw these keyboards on eBay, as part of the full dumb terminal (CRT), also being sold on eBay in separate auctions by the same seller. http://6reoquestions.com/misc/Entrex/DataScopeKeystation/1981Upgrade/eBay/keyboard%20better.jpg http://6reoquestions.com/misc/Entrex/DataScopeKeyst...

Re: Key Tronic Corp. Early '70s Keyboard
Well, I have found some new information on this keyboard...and immediately thought to share it here... https://www.instructables.com/id/Fridge-Magnet-Keyboard/ Seeing this author's post made me both happy and sad...happy, of course, because he saved a rare vintage keyboard that he was certain would ...

Re: Key Tronic Corp. Early '70s Keyboard
The DECscope terminal is a DEC VT50 or VT52. The picture above has the VT05 (left), VT50 DECscope (middle) and VT100 (right). These are iconic terminals and many were made to look similarly. The VT05 coming out in 1970 would have had other manufacturers make their terminals look similarly. Thank yo...

Thank you, Snuci, I really appreciate the reply and the encouragement! Yes, Nixdorf is also one of my saved searches, and I find some hits across Germany and varying countries throughout Europe from time to time... I'll certainly keep you posted here should I find anything. The keyboard photos I pos...

Re: Key Tronic Corp. Early '70s Keyboard
That's really cool, the terminal has quite the resemblance to the VT05, and the later appellation "DECScope" lead me to wonder, do they have any relation besides the resemblance? Not that I'm aware of, but that's very interesting to hear. When I google search VT05 and DecScope, most of the images I...

Re: Key Tronic Corp. Early '70s Keyboard
Thanks for your reply and feedback, JP. Yes, I've had multiple saved searches on eBay for several years now, and I frequent the VCFed forum, and we've discussed this terminal there several times. Nobody has much to say about it, which is really why I started the site about it, so there would be some...

Vintage Keyboard Hardware Signal Capture & Emulation
Please forgive my noobie question here, and if there is a more appropriate channel to post it, or if it's already being discussed elsewhere, please do direct me. I like to restore rare vintage computers. Most of my interest revolves around items manufactured in the 1980s by Convergent Technologies. ...

Hi! I just acquired a Convergent Workstation which should accept the keyboard that you feature here. I'm wondering, do you still have it? If you do, I have some questions where you probably could be of great help to me. What I'm really interested to know is, did you or could you do any logic analyze...
