You seem to be very excited over a ball bearing which achieves what exactly? The ability to have your keyboard in the shape of a pyramid? How wonderful... Other ergonomic keyboards achieve exactly the same thing the m15 does - to be comfortable to type on. You're just paying a lot more for the hype ...

Well the best ergo keyboard is very subjective. I would love to try one. I agree though, you won't find one like it.
A cherry G80-5000 isn't that different, afterall they're just split keyboards. You'll definitely find many like it.

Cherry MX is horrible, Chryo did a review of it, flimsy plastic ...

Explain to me how it is the best aside from the fact you probably blew a grand buying it and you feel like it has to be the best due to how expensive it was. It is just rare, that is the only special thing about it. The key caps are basically impossible to replace, it's still a membrane board ...

I'm using green vinyl wrap for the plate there. But because the beamspring switches are so tall, once the case goes back on, it's almost impossible to see.

I've used Kato Polyclay before to make a replacement ear for a Model F leg and making a replacement for the missing keycap pieces is easy ...

Yes uniform. Exact same keycap in both. Even on the latter Micro Switch SD series the keycaps are still this nice.

When I said layout I was referring to standard 101 or with Unicomps, standard 103/4. On a Model F you almost always sacrifice something e.g. F Keys on a Kishsaver, standard arrow layouts on AT's, XT's, 122's and 104's etc
The plastics on F's are definitely more brittle, watch Chyros's video on the ...

That one that you posted is from an IBM 5251 terminal, which speaks a different language from the IBM 3277/78/79 ones. 5251s were attached to mid-range computers, instead of the mainframes that the 3270 family supported. It is called a "data entry" layout because it is modelled after a IBM 029 ...
