Could you post the firmware from the original controller?

Over the weekend I had great success whitening the keys. A friend suggested using just OxyClean. I had some OxyClean laundry gel.

I found it didn't touch the gray plastic, and did whiten the white plastic.

The DEL and \ keys were originally equally faded. The Backspace key was not faded. This is ...

I was perusing Craigslist, and spotted an NEC Spinwriter printing terminal, basically a more modern teletype. After some cleaning and oiling, it works great!

Can your friend take a dump of the ROM? I don't think the dev keyboard's ROM has been saved yet.

I’m looking for a set of keycaps for a Keytronic foam & foil / butterfly switch, the early tall variety.

Not too concerned with color, though I’d prefer black.

I’d consider buying a full keyboard too, working or not.
