Sorry if this has been covered already on this thread, but I'm curious if anyone else has had issues with the space bar rubbing against the alt keys on both sides? I have a beige F77 w/ beige keys.

My grey blue F77 with dark grey keys doesn't seem to have this problem.

Btw, the grey on grey configuration looks pretty sharp. My wife agrees.

Firmware update:

As an update a few folks have volunteered to help pandrew add Model F officially to the main QMK project in recent weeks. Given the amount of work needed and the time limitations of everyone I am not sure how much time is needed to complete this but I'm hoping that it can be soon ...

I just received my order earlier this week, and I received the replacement foam, but not sure how to ID whether or not it's the "updated" version you speak of...

I also ordered the custom/low serial option, but didn't receive it -- though, I imagine that's due to having swapped out from an F62 to ...

having me do all the repairs (even if the shipment went out earlier) would have significantly bottlenecked the QC and shipping process more than having the factory team take care of it.

@rgleas: You've summed up quite nicely why the HHKB form factor and layout is so highly praised...
The F62 in the HHKB configuration has what I regard as the ideal form factor and layout served up in a heavy-duty package with arguably the best-ever clicky switches.

I'm curious if the unprinted/blank black key caps also have the home bumps..? Anyone with these keys able to confirm?

EDIT: Just looked back at Wazrach's pics, and it appears they do have the bumps (so long as those are the unprinted keys from the order).

One quick Q, are the low serials (with unprinted keys) being shipped out based on the serial value alone, or are certain boards being priotized first? (I.e., All low serial F62, then all low serial F77, then compact F62, etc...)
