Velocifire has pretty bad stabilizers though. But they are Cherry standard.

Are these in keyboards or plate assemblies? What do they look like may I ask?

I don't like it anymore. It just looks like any $20 Chinese gamer keyboard now.
I really like the old G80 cases because they actually looked like a classic keyboard.

Why can't we have any modern fullsize cheap mech keyboards without any "gamer" or backlit BS?

I just saw it, but it has a polycarbonate housing so I don't think it will be the same.

I think you just download the hex file and flash it after shorting the pads to change the mode, (personally i've used Atmel FLIP)

Matias makes the stems way too tight. The last build I did with them I cracked several new Tai-Hao keycaps trying to pull them off.
NOS Alps switches and every other Alps clone I tried don't have this problem.

Something I would like to see in later Ms is Doubleshot PBT keycaps, it would make the black Model Ms look a lot better too.

My suggestions (posted on Google form as well) non-backlit version, any black and Durock T1 switches as options, or kit form without keycaps (except spacebar keycaps) or switches, just the chassis and PCB.

BTW you can get replacement Futaba Cherry mount from Sanwa arcade buttons.

The thing is that is I can easily make them feel nice and tactile but I don't know if it's the "correct" tactility. Unless I can have access to a NOS tactile leaf (wondering if it's worth it or if Alps tactiles had this poor tactility out of the box)

I'm frustrated with tactile Alps, every single switch I've tried felt like scratchy linears except for SKCM Brown (presumably from wear) but I have no way to rebend them so they are consistent or even accurate to how they were originally.

The stem reminds me of SMK switches.

It may be easier to get Durock T1 switches, they are almost identical in feel.

Maybe you can ask someone to model and 3D print a new wheel (with a space for the appropriate size nut)

Why not use Tai-Hao caps?

I've had good luck with "WD-40 Specialist with PTFE"
It leave a slightly oily film instead of being completely dry like Dupont PTFE i've tried, it seems to work well.
I put some on the Caps Lock switch of my yellow Alps64 (mapped to fn) to stop it from binding and it hasn't lost it's smoothness.

Also keep in mind that stealing is criminal, doesn't matter if the people trust you and there are piles of boards. Only makes it worse if anything.
