I experimented with rubber dome keyboards quite a bit (with cca 30-40 keyboards of various brands/age) and I would say that it is quite difficult to generally point at a model with good rubber dome, because rubber dome ages quickly and is dependent on use heavily. So I think that that quality depend...

Restoring Alps tactility - distance between contacts
I am renovating my first Alps keyboard with white SKCM Alps. Thanks to Chyrosran video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Mhmb2kBuwQ I would like to clean switches and also try to restore "clickiness/tactility" as he describes - by small bending of tactile leaf / contact leaves back towards the center...

Do someone know about the keyboard with France flag colors? https://mlstaticquic-a.akamaihd.net/teclados-y-mouse-D_NQ_NP_897011-MLA27704283329_072018-F.jpg I have similar one, with French flag - mine is Silitek SK8801, dome with slider, quite a bad typing feeling although I have not cleaned it yet,...

Hi, I would like to ask you about this keyboard - or mainly about the switch: What type of switch is it? IMG_0513.JPG It is tactile, according to the label the keyboard (sorry, new one, uncleaned yet) should be NMB RT-101+ model, however it is not hi-tek space invader (as noted here https://deskthor...

I got the AT101 today. I tried the click and linear mods on a couple of the original SKCM black switches, they both felt okay. Not extremely impressed, but okay. The original switches do feel a lot better when lubricated and the tactile leaf bent farther, making them more tactile. I would suggest t...

Generally, I am very satisfied and would compare them with SKCM White Alps (Alps are more clicky, maybe more tactile and very slightly more heavy I would say). They are lighter than Matias Tactile with not so much pronounced click/tactility. They are definitely not for somebody requiring heavy swit...

I have recently bought KBParadise with these switches and I am very pleasantly surprised with them (keyboardco.com has them). They are quite light (definitely more than what I would expect from 55g), with rather sharp (but not strong) tactile point and with soft run/soft "damp" before bottoming out ...
