In fact a new version of Advantage is in the final stage of factory tests, but they do not give any details yet.

One quick question: should I get the ErgoDox or rather the Kinesis Advantage? I guess the main advantage of Kinesis is the ergonomic case, with the 'wells' for both hands. On the other hand, both ErgoDox halves can be aligned freely with any distance between them, but the halves themselves are flat....

Yes, sorry for the delay, I was absolutely overloaded by working 12h/day this week.
The keyboard has been sent to komar today, when I'll get home in the evening I'd share my opinions :)

As promised, the photos from unboxing are below - even including the view of my unshaved face :) After a few minutes of use, the Topre switches seem really great, but I will try to use the keyboard as much as possible in the next week and will provide a more detailed opinion... http://imageshack.us/...

OK, finally I had some time to sit with the Numpad and write down my feelings. Alps Black - I did not like them. The actutation point is not clear, the resistance is definitely too big. Feeling that resembles a cheap, dirty rubberdome. Alps Grey - The best of the Alps ones - tactile and clicky, but ...

Yes, I have received the package on Wednesday, and will test it during the weekend.

Sorry for the delay in reporting, but I had to work ~15 hours a day in the last week and I have unboxed the numpad just today.
My first impression: masterpiece! Thanks MrInterface!

Also why are you talking about Pure? I think that your problems are valid only with Poker...

Pure has Esc on the first layer and can have Del instead of Backspace by default.

I have not seen the post that you were banned for, but some of my family members were killed by the Germans, some other survived the hell of concentration camps, my country was devastated during WW2.

I can see no excuse for referencing Nazism in jokes.

xbindkeys is not needed if the only thing you want to achieve is getting the eurosign. You should edit xorg.conf (as I have written above) or use setxkbmap if you want a runtime solution. Anyway, try to get familiar with XKB config and ask if you need more information: http://www.x.org/releases/curr...

You can bind eurosign to (for example) Alt+5 by adding the following line to the keyboard-relevant InputClass section of xorg.conf. Option "XkbOptions" "eurosign:5" More options can be seen by doing cat /usr/share/X11/xkb/rules/base.lst | grep eurosign I don't know your Linux skills, so ask if you n...

As a devoted ThinkPad fan I am terrified. Look how they removed the numpad markings (provided the lack of NumLock maybe the numpad as a whole), how they inverted the funcion of F-keys or changed the layout of Home/End/PgUP/PgDn... Also my personal opinion is that it looks much much worse.
