Hello, as far as I'm aware when the soarers converter doesn't detect a keyboard it default reads as PC/XT. I'm assuming there is a break in the wire between your board and the converter. have you made any progress since posting?

yeah, i built the soarer's converter. i figured this was the cause, because moving it around will sometimes fix the issue. How do i ground the keyboard?

yeah 99% chance its the membrane traces fslice outlined. Also, its a little bit more work but i'd highly recommend a bolt mod over a screw mod for this guy. I like the look of these boards. A downside for me is the ISO-type Enter key arrangement. If it were US-ANSI, I would definitely want one.
