enjoy. alps stabs fit and switches snap in quite well.
be gentle on the plate; it can be fragile.
still working on the top case design but it should fit ok-ish right now.

further down the rabbit hole we go: alps-compatible, bottom-mount dactyl plate. everything snaps in wonderfully. yes, even the alps stabilizers.

most reliable: OG Ergodox. Built by /u/profet23 in 2016, I've used it as a daily driver ever since. I desoldered it to swap in Zilents v2 62g switches and it simply hasn't skipped a beat.

So, a couple of weeks ago, I took a chance on an Orange ALPS-equipped M0116. It had a chipped-out corner on its case, but it only cost me $65 USD including shipping. The board is dusty but the switches feel excellent, even before cleaning. Though oranges are difficult to compare to other switches ...
