It’s essentially a silent Gateron Clear.

Re: How important is programmability to you?
As a 60% user, programmability is vital. I otherwise wouldn’t be using a 60% in the first place. One of my favourite key combinations is Fn + |\ which opens the calculator. I otherwise don’t use that key. But I also haven’t found any “game changing” aspects about programmability. Usually, the smalle...

Re: Tactile Board Suggestions
I’m quite surprised not a lot of folks here have tried out buckling rubber sleeve switches. I’ve not tried the IBM ones, but the Mitsumi KPQ Type on my Apple Keyboard II isn’t anything special. They feel relatively tactile, but not as mushy as modern-day rubber dome switches. This is also coming fro...

TL;DR Best all-rounder: SteelSeries Apex Pro Worst value, but not terrible: Corsair K100 Most features: Razer Huntsman V2 Analog Lesser-known boards: Asus ROG Strix Scope RX and Roccat Vulcan TKL Pro. Both are great, but only if they are significantly less than the Apex Pro. None of these optical b...

Akko POM Brown
It is one of the better “brown” switches on the market; it’s quite affordable too. However, it is as tactile as the Cherry MX Brown… which isn’t really all that tactile.

Akko POM Pink
A cheaper and smooth competitor to the Cherry MX Red (and for many of its clones). It isn’t for me, but maybe they’ll make a heavier variant in the future. A POM Black perhaps? Who knows?

If you’re looking for a relatively smooth, lightly weighted switch for gaming, add these to your wish list. Otherwise, they're kinda forgettable.

Re: Outemu Gold
Yeah, I’d be surprised if there was a click jacket switch that could compete toe-to-toe with a click bar switch.
Unless we’re talking about the NK_Sherbet. That was quite a bad click bar switch. But that’s more the exception than the rule.

It’s a click jacket switch. Yes, it’s bad. No, don’t buy it. The Kailh BOX White exists, buy those instead. It’s as simple as that.

At over $1 per switch, these are very pricey and for 99% of the performance, you’re better off with the Feker Panda (the fake Holy Panda).

It’s a fake Holy Panda; that much is obvious. It’s also the “Better Panda” overall in my opinion. And it’s dirt cheap!

Looking for keyboards with these switches: - Alps SKCM White - Alps SKCL Green - Dome with sliders Or anything else you have that is interesting :) Requirements: - At least a 7/10 switch condition wise - QWERTY in either ANSI or ISO - Full-size keyboard or larger (no compact layouts) - Unmodded UK ...

A cheaper Holy Panda. It doesn’t quite live up to the hype in my opinion, but I’m glad they are more affordable.

This switch has “two” tactile bumps they said, but it really doesn’t. It’s a weird marketing gimmick. It's actually pretty damn good overall though.

Get BOX Whites or BOX Pinks instead. This isn’t worth it, unless you find them for free.

This is a very nice option if you’re looking for a ‘higher-end’ Gateron Yellow. They’re also quite underrated.

If you’re thinking about buying these. Stop thinking about buying these. Just buy the BOX Red or a similar linear switch, not these.

Nope! I just don't post them here as soon as they release. That's probably why it seems like it's a reupload if you're already subscribed.

Re: Gazzew Boba U4 review
Hmmm, that interesting! I use to watch a lot of repair videos where only the hands and the product can be seen on the video, so I’m pretty much used to it at this point. Never thought of being strange.
I’ve also gotten a few ‘talking hand’ comments before too

An expensive, but exceptional switch. I really didn’t think I’d be saying that about an MX based tactile switch.
