Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
I have a buckling spring board here. I looked up the FCC ID it seems to belong to Can Technologies. There's even an entry in the wiki about the FCC ID but this keyboard is different. No model or manufacturer listed but it lists the same patent numbers. It's clearly newer as it has windows keys.

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
But I need help identifying the DIN connector, it looks like it has 6 pins instead of 5.
Are you sure we aren't looking at a mini-DIN-6, that is, a regular old PS/2 connector, but zoomed in a lot?
Haha I feel silly. Yeah I think you are correct. The perspective with him holding it makes it ...

Re: Introductory Guide to Ultrasonic Cleaning
Thanks for writing this up! I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for temperatures settings. I'm mainly worried about what temperature to clean keycaps and switch housings at.

Re: OKI HMB-35957U-22 Oki Tactile Gourd Spring
I have one of these and I thought the board came in a yellow color rather than being yellowed because my entire board is uniform in color even on the inside. These pictures lead to me to believe this plastic yellowed for some other reason considering how much whiter and blotchy these pictures look ...

Re: What is this keyboard - Aropa KT-1002
If it uses the RJ11, wouldn't it be Wyse 4P4C protocol? Or are you saying all the clones use different protocol? Once I get it I can open it up and see if there's any clues inside.TheInverseKey wrote: 28 Nov 2020, 01:40 This is a china based wyse re-brand keyboard. I have yet to see if one speaks the same protocol.

Re: CIE Terminals - vintage Alps mount high profile dye-sub PBT sphericals
I recently obtained one of these at an E recycler. I took it apart and removed one of the switches. It appears that the switches themselves were manufactured by alps. There is a ridiculously small circle ALPS logo on the bottom of the switches that I had to use a magnifying glass to see.
