Re: Ch MVP Trackball
If you need high-resolution trackball with ball bearings, maybe it's worth to try semi-DIY derivative of defunct Microsoft Explorer trackball, as all the factory-made units still in production today are AFAIK low-resolution (by modern standards) devices. You can find trackballs' sensor + ball units...

Searching for "Synth eurorack case" brings some pretty interesting results.
You can also buy different shaped alluminum profiles and that way attach plates to each other etc.

Yes, it's more lke 4 octaves long keyboard synthesizer from what I see in the pictures. Like CME UF 5 that has sides in similar shape.

Re: Xerox Custom Build Plans
Ummm, have you tried finding long slanted industrial prototype enclosure? I see enclosures with trapeze like side shape (think 1980s 8-bit and 16-bit machines) in online shops. Been wondering for a while why no one uses them for keyboard projects. But no idea if there is any as long as you need.

Re: has the trackball landscape changed in any way lately?
Yep, I hated that scroll wheel, too. I never really found any trackball useful for me, either my thumb or my wrist hurts after a few minutes of use. But I don't have any problems using normal mice, so I can live with that. But I'm always eager to find new input methods ;) You have to develop whole ...

Re: Ch MVP Trackball
Attaching detailed info on a trackball I found a documentation from producer - it can be switched to few different protocols actually and have few DPI options to choose. New CH DT 255 costs almost 2 times more than new CST - L-trac trackballs. At least when you don't buy them in bulk. Here is the on...

Re: Best mouse in case of tennis elbow
I would say get a trackball. If for some reason you insist to still use mouse - get some configuration that would apply quiet a lot of acceleration to the pointer movement. Using acceleration would require smaller but fast movements for moving cursor quiet a lot across the screen. With proper settin...

Re: GameBall allegedly finishes its gaming trackball for launch in Q1 2020
IMHO any DPI buttons are a wast of space (no matter if it's mouse or trackball). So I hope you could reprogram that function to something else - like additional button. Want precise aiming without loosing speed of movements? That's what pointer acceleration curve is for. Also to be honest so far I s...
