Re: Great/Interesting Finds

Second that. Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I do not see the appeal of blue Selectric keys on these 3278/3279 boards. The standard white ones look so nice already. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-IBM-3278-3279-Beamspring-Keyboard-with-IBM-Selectric-Blue-Keycaps/154422046622?hash=item23f4456f9e:g:...

Re: Is this unremarkable?

I intentionally marked the keyboard case with a Sharpie, let it dry, and then took pictures of ethanol and an eraser removing it completely. The final picture is after about 3 minutes of work. Re: Introducing "Selectricship"

I really appreciate the information! It makes this monster even beefier  And yes, I love keeping things as OG as possible, without mismatching, unless the original parts are in inferior quality. For example, I have an Omnikey 102, but I hated the OG caps. So I used a set of thicker Arabic doubl...

Thanks Weezer, actually I had the option to buy just the blue caps and I chose to buy the whole machine because I did the same research as you did and realized that this could be the only one out there.
