With the exception of the modifier keys, I read there can be a noticeable difference of weight with mixed keycaps. Yeah I can't think of any meaningful advantage to either as well. I've read that two-piece are easier to clean. One piece supposedly easier not to lose/misplace. And I found no strong o...

which buckling spring keycap mount is more desirable?

My apologies if this is answered already; I couldn't quite find an answer using the Wiki or Google. IBM buckling spring keycaps exist as either integrated or snap-on mounts (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Keycap_mount ). My question is: 1) Is either considered more desirable than the other (on an IBM M...

As far as I know they are the same. I'm not going to start that argument again! (Although, maybe now it wouldn't get spammed to death  ) Only 7bit is making lots of jokes lately… NEVER take 7bit seriously. Just send him your money! Thanks for the link; I was unaware of that thread. Fasc...

No, no! You must order reds to get the real stuff!!!!
I can't tell, is this a joke? I thought brown, red, and blue springs were identical.

Sorry to add to the cacophony of users asking when/if theirs are shipped or whatever, but can you confirm MX 0016 is shipped? My order didn't appear in your "still needs address" list even though it appeared I did need it, and I since sent it.

Hmm, I suppose it didn't register because I forgot to write "ADDRESS" as the first line. I resubmitted with the correct first line.

Yes it is just the switches. No PCB, no plate, no keycaps, etc. The exceptions are nice official Cherry (shipping) bins/boxes in which to store your treasured switches.

The last two letters of the part number specify LED diode and PCB mounting pins. N = no LED, no diode, W = with pins. So NN = no LED/diode, no pins. NW = no LED/diode, with pins.

Nice, thanks for the update 7bit. 0.70 USD/switch is a good price as is the shipping cost.
