爽 is vague. I'd probably go the wordy description instead of trying to translate that. Using that word is analogous to using great in English. How do you use use pinyin to sound out Cantonese specific characters? I like the APC switch. The keyboard is cheaply built for sure, but the switch is not h...

The Azio Levetron Clicker's F buttons feel like they take less force to push down than the letter keys, and the enter seems like it takes more... 爽... Well, there are a ton of words that can be used as brown. 啡 is a semi new usage, coming from 咖啡色. 褐would probably be the more traditional usage. Edit: Your unit is off, 億 would be 100mil ;o~ I counted wrong from a measure I rarely get to use -_- My GZ/HK parents use 啡色 I'm so bad at languages... my...

青 is not pale. It can be used to describe both blue and green in color. Etymology wise, it is closer to green. MX blue is called 青 too. Calling the teal one blue is very odd. 藍=blue. MX Brown is called tea. Nothing new there. Tea is used as color. Not sure why that's a funny concept. Lots of colors...

Haha, the Chinese translations are funny. The greenish turquoise switch is called "blue", the actual blue one is called "pale", and the brown one is called "tea" lol (yes the one that you drink) So the one on the Azio Levetron Clicker got discontinued? From the box, it shows that the switches are wh...

@ruhtraeel: BTW, I wrote to Taiwan Tai-Hao for switch info (sent them a photo of the branded APC as well as the Aruz), will see if they respond. You might want to ask them too, as out of the two of us, only you got a reply from AZiO :) I've updated the wiki based on the new findings. I've formally ...

Good tip, I'll try with quarters (Apparently a Canadian quarter is 4.4g) when I get home, and also send an email to Azio to ask about the switch type. So at least I know I'm not the only one who types faster on a rubber dome keyboard. I think it's mainly just because the ones on the Clicker take mor...

While the mechanical keyboard does seem to feel better while typing, I rarely type for extended periods of time, since programming requires more thinking than typing. For $30, I think the keyboard was worth it purely because it feels better to play games on. Also, how many grams of pressure does the...

Why do I type faster on a membrane keyboard
So I just got an Azio Levetron Clicker, and it seems like I still type faster on a membrane keyboard. I tried 10fastfingers.com/typing-test/english www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php With my mechanical keyboard, I typed at around 105wpm for the first test and 90 for the second. I decided to take i...

Do you type properly?
As in, do you keep your fingers on home row, etc? If not, what do you do differently? I'm curious, because I personally don't believe that there is a proper way to type. I notice that when I type, my left hand fingers are on the wasd keys by default, most likely because of all the first person shoot...

So my Azio Levetron Clicker appeared in the mail today. First thoughts: Super super loud (Can be a problem for some people, I know my parents in the room next to me won't be thrilled about this) Super satisfying to type on European style enter key doesn't bother me much because my laptop keyboard is...

However, why do people keep saying that PS/2 keyboards are NKRO? Mine is PS/2, and it clearly isn't, as the keys in an individual region is limited to 2. I guess it is confusing. NKRO at first depends on the keyboard technology used (simple membrane contacts, switches without diodes only allow 2KRO...

I tried typing the sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" with both shift keys held down, and it didn't come out correctly, while my Compaq PS/2 keyboard came out properly. Off-topic: please stop spreading that joke. It's not a proper NKRO test, instead it just tests your controller...

So would anyone recommend this keyboard? Apparently they feel a lot like Cherry MX Blues. I tried my friend's Razer Blackwidow Ultimate, and it felt pretty good but I did the Microsoft NKRO test, and it seemed like the section for first person shooters (qwe, asd, zxc) was 6KRO but the right side with ...

Azio Levetron Clicker Mechanical Keyboard Questions
Hi, Does anyone own this keyboard? It is really cheap, 30 dollars after a 10 dollar MIR on NCIX and it's mechanical. One thing I'm wondering is that right now since I'm using a Compaq SK-2860, would it be an improvement? I know that even though my Compaq keyboard right now is PS/2, it is not NKRO. I...

Forever alone with my rubber domes
I've tried the Razer Blackwidow and the Thermaltake Meka, and I still like my Compaq-GYUR86SK the most.

It does actually feel like a rubber dome when I press it down slowly, but when I'm actually typing, it felt similar to a Blackwidow Ultimate that I tried out at Memory Express. Either way I'm happy that I found it, but I was just curious to find out what type of keyboard it was. Perhaps it is just a...

I haven't taken the keycaps off yet since I don't really know how and I don't have a tool, but the keyboard is definitely heavier than my HP rubber dome one, but it's still not actually "heavy". It is REALLY hard to press it down without bottoming out because it's so springy (it's either completely ...

Is this keyboard mechanical?
So I've been using a regular HP KU-0316 (current) / Dell OEM rubber dome keyboards since the very beginning, but I found this weird Gyration wireless keyboard and air mouse combo thing. My dad says it was used in presentations and it apparently was really expensive when the company first got it. I'v...
