Re: F104+SSK+122+62+77+50+Ergo orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
I did a search of the topic and didn't see anyone else ask about this, so here goes. Is anyone else experiencing an issue with Unicomp stepped caps lock keys binding in the F104, and does anyone know how to resolve it? I had Unicomp print red accent keys to match my board and unfortunately the Caps ...

WASD v2 87-key with Cherry Greens (IBM diehard perspective)
I'm back with another review of WASD's v2 87-key keyboard. This time, their 87-key v2 with Cherry Greens. I've had the keyboard for almost two weeks now and have switched to using it as my daily driver from my Unicomp SpaceSaver. Intro Quite a lot has changed from WASD's “v1” keyboard that I reviewe...

I figure it's only a matter of time before I'm banned here too. It never ceases to amaze me how good intentions are so often mistaken for bad. I would like to hope that we're a bit more democratic, but based on my limited experience of your contributions to the community, I can safely say that shou...

Unicomp SSK... for real this time?
I just got a shockingly convincing email about ten minutes ago with the following contents: http://img.reizarf.ca/2014/04/02/unicompk.png Since it is April 2, but the email was dated April 1.. is it real? Edit: I can confirm this is real: http://img.reizarf.ca///2014/04/02/confirmedrealcensored.png ...

Alright, well I've decided to take this on as my pet project if that's okay, because I've wanted to do this for a while, but I can't design PCBs for shit. I've got free time, soldering skill, and I'll run my own PCBs and order parts. so you don't have to mail me yours. Yeah, I know I haven't been in...

Doesn't Kickstarter use Amazon for deferred payments? There's plenty of projects there with goals in the low thousands, seems about the right kind of scale for fairly big group buys like this. They do, and with Amazon unless you are buying from an Amazon reseller there is no dispute process (except...

WASD Semi-Custom 104-key keyboard with Cherry Blues
Hello fellow Deskthority users. A few weeks ago I received a WASD Semi-Custom 104-key keyboard with Cherry blues as a review sample because I wanted to preview the quality of their keyboards for everyone at Deskthority, so that they can be more informed buyers. http://www.downloadsgalore.org/wasdrev...

Do we need a vendor subforum? If we can get some vendors to join, sure.. I might ask Unicomp tomorrow. I'd make that separate from Marketplace then More like a support section. I got around to asking them today, I spoke with Don Bowman and he said they'd take a look at our site and would more than ...

I actually connected mine to my computer and used it for a while on Soarer's converter. Like any keyboard, one cannot accurately make a judgement until you use it. Using it for about four hours I still say my preferred order for IBM is: Capacitive buckling spring Membrane buckling spring ALPS Plate ...

Unicomp SpaceSaver M (warning: lots of big pictures)
Since nobody wanted this keyboard in the Deskthority Awards, I figured I’d take this opportunity to write a nice, short and sweet review, seeing as this keyboard would normally cost you $94 + shipping from Unicomp and they provided it to me free of charge. Fancy pictures (and photos of some of the g...
