WYSE keyboard extension numbers.
keyboard on ebay is an AMDEK 840358-16.
Is the -16 mean anything special, or is it just because it is a rebranded keyboard?

Verysyss? Looks like a Wyse PCE Rebrand. Back of the keyboard has no stickers other than made in Taiwan.

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
There were so many of the Wyse keyboards, I can't keep the combinations straight. I was more concerned it was a dome 9 series instead of a mechanical 8-series..

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
surprising response from the seller...
"It has a Vecmar sticker on it. On their site it shows both numbers so I put both up. The keyboard came from a box that has nothing else but 840358-01"
is it a 840358-01? I vaguely remember the yellow arrow keys meaning something.

Or you can do what this guy did on Ebay, by putting this as the auction title...

Re: General Keyboard questions
I'll see if I can try it out when I go to a VCF event. I don't have anything that works with the AT jack.

General Keyboard questions
I just bought a BTC-5339 and a Unisys PC keyboard as a package because I needed a WYSE-50 one. Is there anything special about the BTC? The Unisys was for their compact PC they sold years ago, but I don't know the origin of the BTC (though there is a thread on it here)

Finding a replacement key for a Wyse-50
I bought an old Wyse-50 monitor at a going out of business sale, and thought it would be easy to find a keyboard...ha!
I finally found one on Ebay being sold with 2 others (a BTC and a Unisys), one with the old AT connector, and the other with a PS-2. connector. See picture.
