[WTS] [EU-GER] Mystery G80-1165 HAU by incomm
Up for sale is a rather weird G80-1165 by incomm. - No idea about it's history - I cleaned it, but you may want to give it another extensive clean - Cable is chewed, but working. I can throw in another coiled PS/2 cable or solder it on if desired - See scratched keys on closeup photo - One corner of...

You can browse it to an extend using a mobile browser, but you won't be able to add anything right now. Real bummer.

Re: HTTP 500 error accessing wiki
Sorry for double posting; but can anybody recommend another place to document classic keyboards? Preferrably a wiki, I find forums for documenting a bit tedious to navigate

Re: Model X CTRL - BLE Model M Universal Controller
Looks like a great project, I might snatch a pcb if shipping to europe isn't too expensive.
Oh, and I kinda hate to ask - what is the advantage to other projects like the blusb? viewtopic.php?f=55&t=17388

Re: HTTP 500 error accessing wiki
Has been like that for me since approximately two weeks or maybe even longer. At least some pages on the wiki are readable with the Google translate mode ("translate this page" next to the title on google search). Meh, that really stinks. I think the deskthority wiki is invaluable and I really like...

Re: Questions about G80-1165
That's probably the strangest keyboard I ever saw, with Control, Alt, and Backspace up where the missing function keys would go, the mystery pad, and the XT-size full length spacebar. The divot over the mystery pad looks like it might have been intended for a trackball, but there aren't any trackba...

Re: Questions about G80-1165
It looks like the top left branding says Incomm™, but I'm not sure. The company was founded in 1992 and I feel like that's a bit too new. But it does match up with the board having a card reader, so. Where is the card reader located? The top? I think it is incomm, since that's what the lcd says whe...

Questions about G80-1165
Hey there! I've got a G80-1165 and was wondering about some things. https://i.imgur.com/YVlLxlM.jpeg My questions: Does anybody know what was the use for this thing? It _seems_ to have an integrated card reader. I was wondering what the overlay for the blank keys looked like. Does anybody has a phot...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
I just added another keyboard to the wiki (https://deskthority.net/wiki/Siemens_AK/U6). That's a nice find, thank you for adding it. I've moved it to /wiki/Siemens_97801-132 , as AK/U6 is not the model name but the production stamp. We've already got a successor of it in the wiki, which is rubberdo...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYSWITCH thread
It could be Cherry MX Dark Blue if the stem is darker than it seems on the photo. BTW you didn't add to the wiki any picture of the keyboard depicting the darker switches. Hi again! It was pretty late yesterday and I had a second look at the switches. I put them side to side in daylight and they lo...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYSWITCH thread
I need some advice from you smart people :D I just added this keyboard to the wiki: https://deskthority.net/wiki/A-2_KB-2101/2 I can't identify the switches realiably. They look like MX blues, but they feel and sound very different. I compared the keyboard to another MX blue I have (a chicony). The ...

Re: Any info on the Toshiba T1500?
Heya, I fiddled around with some cpu watchdogs, but their pinout is just to wild. It kinda looks like a rat's nest if you solder them to the pcb. So I opted for an uC in the end. https://i.imgur.com/YdDjj4h.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/EVat0nE.jpeg I used an attiny45. I started at some nanoseconds for t...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread
Yet another switch that need identification :( https://deskthority.net/wiki/Codegen_Technology_CG-84A1 You have to open at least one, and possibly the one under the space bar too as the spring something is likely to be different. External looks alone don't help identifying Alps clones, and the pict...
