I am looking to buy my first mechanical keyboard. I actually posted here before, questioning if I should purchase the Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja. After posting, I realised I still had a lot of missing knowledge about keyboards, even after having researched for months beforehand. So ...

cm storm and filco keyboards are almost identical and afaik from the same oem; keycaps you are going to want to replace after a couple of days anyway, so those are out of the equation;
I've yet to hear a solid rationale as to why the up to double price of filcos would be justified.

Aren't the Filco Otaku caps POM or PBT ?
Those plastic-types tend to go blank at a much slower rate than ABS .

I tried searching and I think they are ABS plastic. So that's why people have been complaining about the shine. I still don't think it will be too much of an issue, unless of ...
