I use that here https://github.com/jsarenik/Mac-Ompose which gives real compose key functionality. Pretty nice. Now all I need is a Compose keycap (the only one I have is on a terminal keyboard and won't most likely fit an MX switch).

Caps for a TECK?

I got myself a used TECK, including shiny otaku caps, so I'm thinking about making that a bit more useable. In the meantime, I raided my Filco for caps, but that's obviously a temporary solution. I contacted TECK support (ugh, bad pun) for replacement caps and got back a clear and resounding silence...

Fair enough. It's getting better by the day and I no longer have violent thoughts. I do pause every now and then trying to remember where that &(!@#$& key has gone though.

I'm now in the "how should I remap the board so that it's easier to type and no one but me can use it MUHAHAHAHA"-phase. Fun.

Talking about Kinesis, the Maxim looks pretty interesting -- does anybody know what kind of switches it has? The features blurp say "Quiet, tactile switches" which hints at Browns, but it really doesn't say.
