I see, I thought you were thinking of putting it on hold for months. A couple weeks is probably fine. The whole thing with the pulse/flatline sets started last week and the flatline renders were posted Saturday, so I'm sure by next week or the week after the flames will have died down a bit as you ...

I don't recommend putting this on hold. It is not just flatline coming out, but several other SA sets including 3 Round 2s (Jukebox, Pulse, 1976). And there are more SA ICs coming out everyday. If the ball doesn't get rolling soon on this, it certainly won't come out in 2016 and maybe not even early...

niomosy is correct. If you let me wave the flag on r/mk, I would like to post 2-3 IC threads there over the time that this buy is in IC mode. This is because most threads die within 3 days there. I would like to use a few different renders for each post to keep it fresh and interesting. You have so ...

Awesome renders as usual zslane! I can't wait to place my order. By the way, I found an interesting photo in my saved files the other day. I think this was posted on reddit about a year ago. It is a photo of the Round 4 SPH set that has been color shifted to look like a Dasher set. I can't remember ...

To me the clips sounded like they dampen the upstroke when listening to the linear comparison. If they do, it would make them worth it in my view if you have a board with pcb mounted linears. Other switch types will make noise anyway so I think it is kind of pointless for those. So while there is li...

I would like to add my 2 cents on color. I like the combination of BBJ-BO for the Dasher look. I think that combination is the closest you will get to an OG look with standard SP colors.

Glad to see the 3D mockups got made. With mockups like that people will surely buy into this. You may know all this already, but here is my take on how to generate the most interest you can on reddit if you ever want to do that: First, you'll want to post both of those mockups to an imgur album and ...

Acrylic Keyboard Covers in Full-Size, 60%, and TKL

Hey guys I'm running a group buy right now for Dust/Display Covers in three sizes. The full-size I am offering is large enough for a G80 type full-size, so I thought some people here might be interested. This is mainly for US members as the international shipping charge is high. There is an EU buy i...

I think you could build up enough interest to get this set made if you want to. It's all in the marketing of it. Do not bring up what the set doesn't have, but instead focus on what it does have going for it. If I were running this, I would say that because it is a vintage replica, novelties kind of...

I've been working on some hardwood wrist rests for myself. Might sell them if there is some interest. Curly maple though not elm like the OP. I have plenty of it. I've been experimenting with dyes and stabilization to help with durability.

If the Matias switches are made in China it is also possible their designs got leaked and they are being straight up copied. Never make anything in China if you don't want it getting copied and made by other factories there. Alps clones are nothing new or exciting though as others have pointed out. ...

Here is a beautiful 1993 Kinesis. Looks to be in great condition. Seems pricey, but I think it is actually priced well for a Kinesis. Love the teal caps they used back then. I would pick it up myself, but I just don't have the funds atm. I'm sure those caps would look great on an ergo dox as well. I...

I thought the alps switches were in stock according to my invoice. Was I mistaken? If so I will take them out of my order because I also ordered a bunch of keys from the RETRO sellout, and I want those keys pretty soon.

Should I go with alternating colors for the F-row by buying that extra kit, or go with the alternate color for the insert and delete rows by getting the symbol kit. Both are $16 and I can only choose one, so I need help deciding.

Got my Retro today after the agonizing wait. I tried taking some pictures, but these white and blue keys do not photograph well. They just look blank with my crappy camera. IRL, you can see them though....just don't lean too far back. The keys have a great feel to them. I wish they were slightly mor...
