@laxu, The trackpoint extension is for that purpose exactly, you can use it for trackpoint, trackball, and really anything you want, it's connected to two data lines on the MCU. I do like the magnetic connectivity option on the UHK, however that project has a much larger scope than mine (which start...

It's not supported, I thought at the time that since just about all 1.5U mods are Ctrl/Alt, it didn't make sense having a third 1.5U key since there are few win or other logos for 1.5U mods.Phenix wrote: ↑great to heart! btw why is 1. 5-1. 5-1. 5-2. 75 not possible? Or is ot just not listed?

If you need funds to get a new station/etc, I'd be happy to buy a PCB prototype if that would help at all. Really excited about this project. Thanks for the generous offer, but I've got my replacement station, but it only arrived the day before I had to move. I'm hoping to get the first board built...

X-post from SAMPad thread, Yeay, first test build was successful! Hot air soldering is so much faster! I used Easy AVR to program the board, all keys registering, indicator LEDs working as they should. I haven't got my switches yet, so I just shorted the switch pins to test and it's working. Also, I...

Yup, sorry, 5 pins, GND, 5V, CLK, DATA and RESET. It's not like the TEX Yoda, where the solution is incorporated, mainly because there aren't any readily available parts to mount the trackpoint "module" directly to the board. Pins are there to ease the process of adding support, as it's already rout...

Once I test it out, and I'm happy with it, I'll post it on GitHub. The reason I've made the PCB small is so it can be used as a standalone hub as well. Some features for those interested, - Upto 4 USB ports available - Connects to PC via microUSB - Externally powered using USB Type-C, so you can con...

So, here's my first batch of PCBs. I'll write a proper review of EasyEDA's service and the PCBs this weekend in a separate thread, but as you can see, it's all high quality with everything aligned perfectly. http://i.imgur.com/zVVEfoR.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TrSiNjw.jpg I also designed a USB hub PCB ...

Maybe ask your manufacturer if they charge differently for 1.2mm PCB vs 1.6mm, if yes, how much are we looking at for a 18*38mm PCB (Estimated size)matt3o wrote: ↑honestly depends mostly on pricing

Regarding the WS2812B, I've got the GUI done as well as LEDs working (Simple on off at this stage, no fancy effects) via Easy AVR firmware, still got to link the two. I've been really busy with work and getting the hardware settled as getting the PCBs will take time. As far as features working, basi...

That's a doubleshot font if I ever saw one. And no, I don't mean that as a compliment! Way too much like Gorton Dummified for me.
