I don't remember the exact number of screws, btw are pretty visible when the feet are removed.
Then you have just to separate the two halves of the housing using just your nails or something like a strong guitar pick

I'm having the same problem as the TS, the LED in the 9 key is not working anymore. I removed the key and tried to move the LED and it lit up again. I'm assuming this is just a connection issue that can be easily repaired. The problem is, how do I open up this keyboard? :D With a screwdriver ? :lol...

There was an IBM 3270 Kanji System, but it got around the character problem by having 15 different shift keys (!) Reminds me of the ZX Spectrum. I hope the keyboard is better. Although those ZX Spectrum keys made perfect erasers. Erases everything, pencil, ink, blood, you name it. http://wouter.bbc...

This keyboard makes me aggressive. I want to destroy it. I just wanted to have it backlit as the X6 they cloned. The X6 is both the best keyboard ever looking at the additional features and the smart form factor and also the crappiest rubber dome I ever touched. A mechanical X6 would be the perfect...

Could you mayhaps refrain from doubleposting 1 minute after your last post? You know there are EDIT buttons? I don't think it is, which is a serious downside for me... The lack of the middle button was hideous 10 years ago, since the introduction of opera. Now that all the browser, included explorer, cloned the opera behavior is more hideous than before. And I haven't mentioned linux, where the middle but...

Vocal has a limited use. In an office you don't want to hear everybody talking to their computers. I have read about these brain input devices and seen some videos. Someone concentrates on an E, and after 5 seconds in 80% of the cases an E appears, and in 20% something else. In Rome they are studyi...

The effect of not knowing how to touchtype is that it takes a lot more effort to input.
May I decide if my typing skill is good enough for my needs ?

May I decide if the little speed improvement that I can eventually obtain is worth the learning effort ?

Olivetti rubber dome with backlight, if exists, must be the Ultimate #1 keyboard. Quoted correctly your message can be taken as an intelligent one. People who play that kind of piano tend to disagree. Playing piano has nothing to do with touchtyping, you learn it or not (I did for the record), you cant understand if this message is written touchtiping or not, but you can easily understand if a piano if played properly. So use a better argument.
