It's not completely gone, its use has just been thinned out by way of a orthography reform.

In my opinion, that was a missed opportunity. Not that I don't like the ß, but all they caused was confusion, methinks.

I didn't want to appear unappreciative towards 7bit in my earlier post, I understand that it's A LOT of work organizing such a group buy so thanks a lot 7bit! It's just that I fell in love with those white on blues and when I saw them elsewhere on the internet, they make me come here and participate...

Would've been even better when there were blue ones again.
