I talked to the rep at the meetup in San Jose, and the first quarter, according to her, is to be the release, not just an announcement. She was pretty and gave me some HHKB coasters, so I have complete faith in her claim.

I think Hasu's controller really is a requirement, mapping Enter for dual-action key (RCtrl, Enter) is quite useful indeed :) Late poster, but that is a great tip. I'm in the middle of re-Hasuing my board. I thought I was moderately knowledgeable about layouts; that turns out have been a delusion.
