Certainly an interesting take on a programmer layout. I guess everyones layout depends on the specific languages they use. For instance I mostly write objective-c (for now) so having the square brackets in the middle 1.5U spots is ideal for me. I'm quite surprised how little time it took to get used...

Well I've spent an hour this morning swapping my keys over. http://i.imgur.com/r1PpMIr.jpg http://i.imgur.com/PGvepZk.jpg Overall I'm pretty happy with the quality and design. I'm unsure if I'll keep it as I'm already missing the colours of my original. It's also bugging me that I don't have an appr...

All in all I'm currently satisfied with my layout and feel comfortable enough to share it. There are still some modifier combinations that are a bit uncomfortable, but that's only because some OS and applications are a bit unreasonable. Super interesting read, thanks! This last point is very true f...

Thats odd! Was that Royal Mail too? Theres always the chance it'll slip through unnoticed, but I think this is a slim chance. I pretty much avoid ordering anything from America, as EU is nearly always quicker, easier and tax free. But when theres a custom set of delicious keycaps I can't really pass...

Yes, that's technically just a holding charge that you pay them for the bother of inspecting your stuff. (And I have never seen the formula. It may well go higher still.) The actual tax they charge is almost the same everywhere in Europe. Any EU proxy would minimise fees by combining many people's ...

Blender: the only software with a steeper learning curve than VIM I use Vim and while I appreciate that it's pretty difficult to use... it doesn't compare to blender even one bit. Blender is waaaay off the charts! Tbh the best thing about vim is you can learn little bits at a time. I just wish I co...

I tend to just factor it into the price. If we group in the UK then as soon as the package totals >= £135 you have to additionally pay Customs Duty (unless the amount owed is under £9). It's enough to drive you crazy! At the end of the day the British thing to do is just pay it and grumble about it ...

On the other hand, if 50 Americans each forwards one "gift" to 50 Europeans... Spread the love :) In the UK you still have to pay import tax if the item is valued at £36 (not including shipping) even if it is marked as a gift. That is better than commercial produce though where you have to pay as s...

Thanks, though not sure it works. I'm listes twice in the layout list (the 1st apperance is with the wrong layout). I have "Escape" as a 2x key, but it doesn't appear in the "Double Modifiers (2x)" list (too low count?) also "Spacebar 45 110% " It lists you twice as I'm not near a computer ...

You can have a look at the stats here:
http://dox.codeslingers.co.uk/
I think I'll work on an importer for TMK layout files. But for that I could do with a couple for reference. Does anyone have a keymap.c file I can look at?
