Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

Hello, I am still trying to get my solenoid to work. I have watched the Model F project's video multiple times. The issue I am have, when I try to use Atmel Flip, after I select ATMega32U2 chip, and then select USB, I immediately get these two (2) errors: "AtLibUsbDfu.dll not found" and "Could not ...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Zenith ZBK-3? Considering the lack of any available information, I'm assuming it's just the rubberdome sequel to the ZKB-2? can't be sure, I think I recently looked this one up and yeah, it was most likely RD. Also looking at the way the back side looks, that hollow back is usually a RD thing, righ...

Re: Has anyone here tired to get a keyboard machined in the US?

It's pretty much what you'd expect, a pretty substantial difference (I don't remember exactly what it was when I was getting quotes for waterjetting, but I did end up going with a place in Vietnam that was probably half the cost of BBS). Plus the quality has gotten much better and the tolerances hav...

Re: Taobao experiences?

I'd love to purchase some of those desoldered ones, but am having some serious difficulty navigating the page. How does one do this? You need to create an account to navigate taobao pages. However, this is the direct link to the switches page: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a312a.7700824.w400...

Re: [WTB] FK-8000, Aristotles, Desko

I have some Aristotle stems in Kailh housings that feel great, but I'd highly recommend Phoenix stems/switches (the ones sold assembled feel a little worse, but the better keycap alignment and fit is worth it). I'll count my kailh/Aristotle switches if you're interested in going that route. pm'd

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYSWITCH thread

Another that's on the tip of tongue but I just can't pin down what it is: https://i.imgur.com/0l9rOuc.jpg Looks a little like Mistumi's, but a lot bigger and a little more alps-y. Some interesting nubs on the top of the stem too. It's a (bad) rubber dome with slider and Alps mount It did look a lot...

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYSWITCH thread

There are other similar ones listed. Here's one with a USB cable . The one posted by hwood34 is the nicest looking, IMO, and has more keys. Yeah, super interesting looking and I love the little switches at the top. But I'm not about to drop $100 + the cost of shipping that big bish across the ocean...

do you have pictures of the rest of the board?
Board is listed here, pretty cool one but definitely too expensive to ship from Japan unless the switches are something crazy

I'm also having no luck identifying this switch from an Acer KB-084C. I can't find any info on the keyboard either! Anyone know anything about either?
Looks like Mitsumi KPQ

I would, but there doesn't really look like there's anyway to do it without damaging the switches. Although they do feel somewhat like them
