I have a feeling it's how many pieces that have been sold of the particular set... The space cadet stuff seems to be in greatest "supply"

I had a random encounter of the keyboard kind the other day and actually got a chance to try one of these babies out (one of those Swedish variable force that keyboard company sells), but as it turned out it's probably not my cup of tea. Very nice keyboard all in all (great quality feel) but I think ...

Seems like 7bit is not at home for the moment so maybe he can't update payments just now, even if the bot can recieve new orders.Muirium wrote: Roll a dice. Count that many final deadlines when they come. And maybe right around then the real waiting begins.
But first add a few weeks. The man's AFK!

Sometimes taking time to think a design through is a good idea... I just realised that the original Round 5 still has 1.75 shifts left... That makes it possible to get rid of the questionable holes in the layout. The only compromise caps-wise is using up/down for page up/down and I can live with ...

[WORKLOG] F75 - Custom 75% keyboard from scratch
After modding a keyboard it’s time step it up and actually build one from scratch… Since 7bit keeps sucking up all my spare money I have no idea on how to fund this, but at least the time taken to design it is free :geek:
If I’m going to do this I’m going to build something that at least has the ...

Should I go with alternating colors for the F-row by buying that extra kit, or go with the alternate color for the insert and delete rows by getting the symbol kit. Both are $16 and I can only choose one, so I need help deciding.

I tried a carbide router in a dremel, but I felt precision was lacking - hence the manual approach.
It's still the problem of filing a square hole with a round file, and you don't want to slip too much and enlarge the switch hole too much introducing wobble to the switch. If your going to try the ...

Nice pictures by the way. How do you like the internally dampened switches as opposed to o-rings? I have never been one to like dampened switches. I like them as loud and obnoxious as possible...

A new home (Ergo clear mod worklog)
Back when i joined this site I asked plenty of questions about doing an ergo clear mod and here are the results from the first part. I have a filco TKL + numpad combo I want to mod and for an easy start i began with the numpad. As far as keycaps are concerned they'll eventually be white/grey Round 5 ...

I'm a bit anxious to get modding :P and the only component missing are my black switches.
Since I only need the linear stems, reds will do just as well, but before I change my order I wanted to check that the red switches (plate mount if possible) actually are truly in stock and can be shipped on ...
