How to make <> symbols on ANSI Poker using ISO in software..

Hello everyone! I'm in the US for a month so I bought an ANSI poker II thinking there wouldn't be any big problems with the layout. Now I started up a c++ project and realized that I can't make <> when using ISO in my OS since the small button next to Lshift isn't there in ANSI. Can I program Z to <...

That IS a cool keyboard, but it's something I would want at a spaceship or something. The smaller the better for portability :)

You are getting closer and closer to this one. Which design I personally really like and would love to try out one day! https://trulyergonomic.com/store/truly-ergonomic-mechanical-keyboard-soft-tactile-cherry-mx-brown-keyswitches-207-english Huh yeah. Thanks for showing me! I'm gonna look into what...

Yes, you need a larger angle and/or separation between the key halves. Are you sure about the location of the ZXCV keys? They are shifted two steps from on a staggered keyboard, not just one. BTW, is there no Swedish version of Colemak, like there is for Dvorak ("Svorak") ? Yeah, you're probably ri...

That's more like it. Try various angles (especially wider ones) and maybe print some out 1:1 scale and lay your hands on them to get a feeling for what they're asking of your wrists. There could be a sweet spot. Yup, definitely going to print out a bunch of different layouts and try it with some ke...

Looks like a ton of work for your little fingers. Unless maybe you're thinking of crossing your wrists and using those as thumb clusters! GENIUS! :) Separate halves, like the ErgoDox, are far more ergonomic than a traditional rectangle; even with finger appropriate rows like you've drawn. But if yo...

Crazy idea for custom keyboard

Hello everyone! I'm in the process of designing my second custom keyboard a school project, my first being mostly a prototype for testing. I know I could make something pretty standard, but why not create something completely unique? I really like ErgoDox but It's a bit too expensive and I want some...

According to diode direction of your keyboard columns and rows are reverse in software. Just exchange those in hardware or software.(I guess you guys prefer software method :D) I didn't find other faults than this, good work so far! You may need to learn how matrix works and primer of AVR I/O opera...

Hmm, infomation given is not enough, in particular when you don't know the cuase. 1) Post pics of your keyboard; all over appearance, upside and downside of internal(PCB or hand wiring) at least.(we never can see your *custom* keyboard without pics) 2) Show your schematic of circuit if possible(han...

Me and a friend of mine have a problem with our keyboard, we're making a small one with only 28 keys (for counterstrike). The problem is not in the hardware or the soldering which we've double checked, it's somewhere in the code. The problem as is seems now is that we can't assign the keys to the bu...

I've been trying to find what size the holes in the plate is. Where the switches sit, that is. From the pictures that I have seen that they are not perfect squares. Anyone knows the dimensions? I'm going to CNC cut the aluminium plate by the way.

Thanks for making this awesome keyboard and guide, I'm gonna have to make a "bluefox" some day. It just looks so good i need to have one.. Did you try to make the bottom plate in steel? I'm currently starting a project to make an "fps" keyboard with only 20 keys. I think steel would look awesome. Al...
