Forgive me if this has been covered already. I would like to better understand how we are proceeding. From what I gathered when I first started posting in this thread you were going to be making just a few designs, however it has also been said that it may be like previous attempts and everyone may ...

Actually swapping those keys (width and all) may be better for use as well.

The Alt Gr key does not work though. Not all Poker cases have the post under H.
This fixed it I think.

Yeah, missed that before posting and then. "You can't delete a post that has been replied to".

Here is(I think) a Poker compatible Matrix (Except for H). I know someone did not like the matrix idea but a few did.

I'm just trying to think out of the box. The only way to get more keys in the same space is a slight rearrange/downsize which apparently kills the case compatibility. What are the design parameters? I myself would not mind modding a case to make it work.

What I would like out of this group project is a small, sexy keyboard, like the GH60 but with arrow and nav keys.
Too bad that matt3o's custom 60% design with a nav column did not work with a Poker/GH60 case, or I would have been in on that. I see this project as being the substitute for that. I ...

Here is my contribution to the split design ideas. I rather like this idea. The Teensy could be put under either of the relocated home cluster keys locations in the image. Obviously you would lose those keys, however with a split or angled design where it is in one case you could install the teensy ...

Redditt is sick and always will be, when you make a bb so easily found and loosely moderated (by design) you get some unsavory characters. I think I speak for many that we love your designs and have zero issue with the way you have handled interactions in the various sites you post.

I liked the knob idea. I personally mix the music I listen to post computer so I don't record my music when I record gameplay. A small a/b mixer and 3.5mm would be cool. I dont know where you are going with the knob idea but that is a use that I can think of.

I could really use a favor from one of you Cad wizards. I live next door to a machine shop and I just walked over to see how much a plate would cost to get manufactured. I wonder if the board could be made to accommodate both stabs and switches in my location. The center switch would remain the same regardless but the plate could have something that accommodates both. Im sorry to be pushing the multi spacebar but I think its something that the market needs.

Also, stabs work a little differently to switches. Those connecting wires they have right from one end to the other exist for stability reasons. Switches won't stabilise quite as well. You might want to try the feel of POS caps on a Tipro to verify this yourself.

The measurements are correct, I ...

Less space we need to give up then. So something like I just uploaded could be possible it seems with even less real estate taken up.

I didn't think about the teensy location. The split spacebar design I linked last solved the location of the splits allowing for both thumbs to rest naturally on independent buttons. Also the latest design accommodates a full 6.25 spacebar more or less natively (remove two switches).

You said you ...

I don't know about yours, but my space bars have a shiny spot right under N and M, where Req's designs have a split between two keys.

The design below fixes your gripe however it de-centers the middle key making it so you could not have it dual purpose (holes for stabilizers for spacebar).

65 ...

Req, I really like the ones that have the extra colomn on both sides. What size are the "D-Pad” green keys? Would there be any way to get the "? / UP” key the same as the ones below it.

I like the first one as well for a lot of extra keys for little cost of space. Keeping to a standard US layout ...

The "any" keys will probably be re-legibles/legendables * from the Ruby super system http://www.keycapsdirect.com/ruby.php . Or I may turn some of my WASD keys upside down or sideways. The spacebar area Ill just grab some blanks from SP.

Here are more row friendly designs that I may like better ...

My plan was to use DSA caps so I don't think using those keys would be an issue.

Sound thinking. No need to consider rows with DSA. But you'll still need a cap of that size. As far as I know, there's nothing available in the range between 3 and 6 units. Your best bet would be 2.75u. Because that ...

I was doing some mockup and that made the most sense in my mind from a FPS perspective. While your hand is in the WASD position ones thumb generally rests in the V area of the spacebar. With this configuration one can comfortably hit Space/Jump while having a large alternate key within easy reach ...
