Poker II just arrived. The "enjoy your feeling Poker II" looks just as silly in person. The keys are a dark grey color and the case is black. Since the space bar from my QFR is also black it doesn't look as bad as if it had been the wrong shade of grey, but still not optimal. http://s29.postimg.org/...

If you want OEM profile PBT, then I think you should look at getting some Keycool brand spacebar sourced from China. They do a variety of colors and are universal type which do fit Leopold (one variant, don't remember which) too. Thanks IvanIvanovich, From their website it doesn't look like they se...

Step 1. Acquire SP's PBT colour ring ($35) to get a proper match. Dodgy coloured space bars are just as bad as yellowed ones. That does seem to be a flaw in my backup plan of using the ABS space bar that originally came with my QFR to replace the one on the Poker II so I can at least ditch the "Enj...

The Leopold just needs some of those Topre to MX stems that are all the rage. http://deskthority.net/keyboards-f2/topre-switch-cherry-mx-compatible-t7076.html Well, they will be when they're available. The NovaTouch does look promising, but I'm pretty happy with the layout of the Leo so far - thoug...

No PBT space bars there, by the looks of it: http://keycapsdirect.com/inventorypdfs/SpacebarInventory.pdf Just ABS, and the occasional "PC", which I assume is polycarbonate? Edit: you Celtic ninja! Anyway, it's also nice to be able to choose a matching colour, of course. What set are you trying to ...

PBT Space Bars
Hello All, I'm still fairly new here so please forgive any mistakes and feel free to correct/inform me. The Need: Keyboards sold with PBT caps and PBT cap sets frequently come with ABS space bars. This leaves many of us looking for PBT space bars, but they are hard to come by. A Possible Solution: S...

Thanks Setsuna, I really do love the way yours looks - especially the connector. The one I ordered has a pretty basic USB Mini end. Perhaps I'll buy one for goyetus the next time I need one. For anyone looking for something state-side there is also http://www.mimic-cables.com - however I found that ...

For the Poker the space bar is 6.25u, the profile is OEM, so DCS should be OK. As for finding that in PBT, good luck :) Thanks DanielT, Yeah, SP has PBT space bars in DSA profile but not DCS. Guess I'll just have to get an ABS one then keep my eyes peeled for one in PBT (I'm less of a PBT snob and ...

I would say it stood it quite ok - except for the case (I think only the white version had issues. The black one doesn't peel off). Here you can see some quick pics of mine I did a few minutes ago (I know the lightning is odd. Keycaps should look white) http://i.imgur.com/TXHVpOR.jpg http://i.imgur...

Interesting that she likes the finish so much - I wonder if the case finish is different from the finish on my standard QFR. Mine feels nice, and looked good until it started a collecting oil from my hands (forgivable) but it is now starting to rub off on the edges :( But then she seemed pretty posi...

the mini v60 is just coming out. if I had to get a 60% now, I'd take that. I believe it's backlid, but you know... just turn it off :) btw, if you can wait for the 660c I'd wait to see how you like the layout. As you said, having the same layout on multiple stations definitely helps. Thanks Matt3o,...

You went for a hell of an upgrade, Boingo, looking forward to your impressions! Topre is pretty amazing, especially compared to MX browns. And as Matt says, the Leopold is an excellent model. boingo we are definitely looking forward to your feedback on the new model. Unfortunately the ABS spacebar presents shines already, but nothing we could do ...
