F122 with APL legends He has two others listed without APL caps http://www.ebay.com/itm/351938139327?ul_noapp=true No sure if this has been discussed here or not. I had a pretty bad experience buying keyboards from him. I purchased a keyboard advertised as having APL keycaps. He sent a regular Mode...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/112079867737 Model M with APL caps? Those smell like Hooleon or the like to me. The company has been around since the mid-80s, and that font face and weight looks familiar. The X, S, G, Numpad, etc... Just a touch off http://shop.hooleon.com Can you elaborate a bit more? I c...

Need a typing demonstration please :D I tried a few random keys (all bottomed out) followed by a few click on the spacebar at the end. https://soundcloud.com/larryniven/ibm-model-m https://soundcloud.com/larryniven/att-kbd-305b The standard M feels crisp, while the AT&T one feels dampened. But the ...

AT&T KBD 305B
I believe this is the one appeared on ebay a while ago. A friend of mine got it. He didn't know what to do with it, because the 6p6c to PS/2 cable is missing. He ended up swapping a working model M with me. Seems like I will need to solder a 6p6c to PS/2 on my own like the Dolch PAC keyboard. The pi...

This is the best I can get. It's not perfectly orthogonal.jacobolus wrote: ↑Wow. So how effective are the F row keys with those enormous keycaps? Do you mind taking a side-view picture of the switches with keycaps on them without the case in the way?

Pretty long stem. Right?
For an IC photo, I will open up the case tonight.

WTFing F? That is the weirdest thing I've seen since starting the hobby. What's the part number? Edit: WTFing M is more appropriate. Here's the back of the keyboard. It even says "Model M." http://i.imgur.com/hYsSg86.jpg This keyboard is actually rescued from a public school in Chicago suburb. A fr...

IBM Blue Alps
Just manage to save a weird keyboard. It's an IBM keyboard with blue alps. http://i.imgur.com/GBrMiB7.jpg When I first received it, the typing experience is totally unacceptable. It's really hard to even press down the keys when you hit them off the center. I guess it's due to the dust inside the sl...
Indeed. I really like that ISO Return on beamspring. And some real Shift keys! We might have a special interest in your caps, Larry: http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/hi-profile-pbt-dye-sub-the-time-has-come-t10805.html Sure. I can take photos or measure the caps. No PBT double- or tripple-shots? ...
IBM 5110
http://i.imgur.com/KN0N1hp.jpg Around mid-May, I had to skip Keycon and spent 4 days driving from Chicago to Denver to get this beast back. A very kind man decided to donate the machine so that more people can get to see it, so here I am telling the story of this still working machine. It first app...

Do you have measurements of the case? I smell golden ratio. Really nice format. Pretty close. The width is 17 in, and the depth is 10 in. Very nice. Anymore of those hiding over there? I hope there are as well, but sadly it's the opposite. Think I could kill for one of these. Where do you live did ...

That's a beauty! Where on Earth did you find this one? I bought it from China. I'm lucky to know a few people who have access to vintage keyboards. For some reason, lots of vintage keyboards are sent (sold?) to China. I'm surprised that those in China are actually better preserved than those in the...

IBM 3278 A02
Just acquired an IBM 3278 A02 in good condition. The foam seems to be removed already. I can see the metal plate through the gap of the keycaps. http://i.imgur.com/xqc1oBA.jpg Huge IBM logo  http://i.imgur.com/kQLDEna.jpg The power buttons are slightly different than Halvar's and Monster-Toys...
