i think this is built into qmk and the slave half communicates with the master half. come to think of it, even corne and other various splits do this. i hope my response was clear enough.

I submitted my interest for 1-2 84 key keyboards. But there wasn't any space to enter more detail. I would like to be in for 1 in this round, and 1 with custom colors and possible hhkb layout, if there's a round 2.
