so if im reading that correctly you have a plate for a pcb mount keyboard and want to use plate mount stabs?

Not sure how to recommend doing that but you may be able to use the enabler pcbs for using pcb mount stabs but i feel like you would still need to support them but I have not tried them ...

Agreed it has me interested in this project. I have been waiting for someone to add that to tmk but that doesn't seem to be happening

well you could drill and tap for stand offs or even just epoxy / jbweld some stand offs where they need to go.

I would probably just try to add more mounting points so you could use it

I only go to the build section of geekhack and here really since my addiction is more with making stuff rather then keyboards themselves

I don't think swills tool works with rotation from keyboard-layout-editor

Yeah, I had the same thing; the pro-micro was on COM1 or something but the bootloader was on COM7. It's the other reason I would recomend having device manager open when fiddling.

Oh and another thing I found helpful was to hard wire a reset button, even if it's just temporary.

I had a hard time programming my pro micro the other day for about an hour I couldn't get it to program then I noticed when I had it go into the bootloader it was changing the port from com4 to com5 for that 8 second program window. Once i figured that out I changed my batch script to the correct ...
