- Topic: If you were designing new -- how about a 120% or a 150% keyboard?

The bad thing about big keyboards is not the amount of keys, but how wide and lopsided where the mouse goes(unless you're a southpaw) they are. That's why I'd make a board that's about as wide as a 75%(or at least 75%+left-side numpad) but longer than a full-size, somewhat like the Datalux Space Sav...

in regards to programming why the heck won't people just use the OpenSource software made by Input club.. If it's as overcomplicated as KLL then I can see why. But I agree that they should look into Linux drivers. @topic not my cup of tea really, but if I'll see one I'll probably try how changed ac...

I may be interested depending on the feeling(how stable and tactile are they), travel(probably shorter than ML's since the caps are hitting the housing, but I hope not too short to be comfortable) and whether Matt3o getting them first means they'll only sell them without a six digit MOQ on assdrop o...

See, this is the kind of "no because I said so" crap that makes me visit keyboard sites less and less each day. So having a gap or weird modifier size(1.25 on one side and 1.5 on the other) mixes in 65%/75% boards isn't idiotic? And you don't need heavier spacebar switches, nor does 2.5x1.5 go well ...

What I don't understand is why some layouts keep the 6.25u spacebar on a 40% when its already so small haha Because many people are way too stuck up in "standard layout is the best layout" mentality. Every time a new keyboard with a non-standard bottom row comes up they start bashing on that. And e...

Razer Blackwidow page error
[wiki]Razer_BlackWidow[/wiki] The page claims that the Blackwidow is 14KRO, while the source only shows 14 keys pressed at the same time. As we know, (x)KRO is the amount of keys that you can press in every possible combination without locking up. However, the page is protected so I can't fix it. So...

All skilled rhythm gamers I know replied more or less with "If you want shallow actuation, get scissor switches" and "just give me a consistent switch and I'll take care of the APM". On the other hand osu players are claiming that this is the next big thing besides 144Hz monitors. But that was to be...

For those wondering, instructions for rebinding in Linux are available on r/mk wiki. I have tried sixtifying my layout for a bit, and found that it works for a mobile keyboard. I even went as low as 45%-ish and still didn't mind anything except the 6.25 space(which was out of place which finally con...

To quote my reply from the GH thread. Nice damage control thread. For those who missed it, until jdcarpe pointed it out, the official channel for contacting the team with ideas was neither of the communities(r/mk, DT or GH) or even MD, but a page on ideahunt.io . I guess the mechanical keyboard comm...

And with a good layout and Fn layer? IMO this is one of the worst possible layouts ever. 1. It's pretty much as portable as a TKL. 1u smaller in width and length don't make as huge of a difference as fullsize to TKL or TKL to 60%. And if you're really going for portability, you'll want a 60% or may...

I don't agree. Please make dedicated Arrows! or make a 65% keyboard. Personally I want a 75% (so 65% with extra F-keys.) If anyone else also like the idea - make it F1-F24 (cause vertical place is useless for me, just need my hands nearer to mice ;) This guy gets it. It's not about less leys, it's ...

Do keyboard layouts drawn on paper count? Just kidding, although I made quite a bunch of them. But at least now I know that my custom will be either like Matias Mini or a straight up 75%. Or maybe 75% with spaces in F-row. I should probably stop daydreaming about it and actually look up how mu...

And It's a reason for people here not to write language-specific diacritics at all in non-formal and semi-formal communication. That used to be the case here too until a misunderstanding you want to avoid became popular. "X robi ci łaskę" - X gives you an unwilling favour "X robi ci laske" - X give...
