Just got my red F77! I think this board has QMK already, but I'll need access to the QMK beta site to do more with it.

To install a solenoid you need solenoid driver and the solenoid itself as you mentioned. The renderings have stepped keys from the prototypes while the new Model F's do not have those keys stepped. Looking into ebay, some 3178 are stolen their solenoids. If a seller accepts, I think you should confirm whether they have solenoid in their interior when you eager to get them.
